Subject: UKFN Fluid Mechanics Thesis Prize (updated)
This is advance notice that UKFN will once again be running a competition for the best Fluid Mechanics-themed doctoral thesis from the previous year. We will be asking examiners to nominate outstanding dissertations that were submitted during 2018, and details will follow soon on the UKFN website. The winner will receive a prize of £500, and together with the two runners-up will be invited to present their work at this year's UK Fluids Conference in Cambridge (27-29 August 2019, http://ukfluids2019.bpi.cam.ac.uk/).
